Where do you stand on this? Would you tease a lion with your child? I wouldn’t….

So this video was put online yesterday and is taken by the mother of the little boy on an outing to Portland Zoo in Oregon.

Seemingly Kya, the lioness, thinks that the little boy is a zebra and is trying to maul him.

Some forums are describing this video as ‘cute’. Personally, I’m not convinced that describing this as ‘cute’ is appropriate. I would probably use ‘frightening’ or ‘terrifying’ and I’d have been more inclined to move my child immediately – better to be safe than sorry. But that’s just me…..

What would you have done if that was your child?

  2. Lindsay says:

I think this is awful how can they laugh at it,bet if lioness had got out & did that really to kid they wouldn’t laugh then!

  3. Really don’t know about this person’s parenting skills.

  4. Tony says:

Not a laughing matter at all, just sick and totally stupid, what responsible parents DON’T DO!

  5. Jennifer says:

OMG! that’s dreadful! I watched it without the sound on and its scary! If they filmed that laughing then there is something wrong with the world. That is seriously scary. Don’t care that it’s behind glass, my child wouldn’t be that close no matter what they are wearing.

This is too crazy.. and this is not funny. What if the glass break? All of you will be eaten by this beast..
